You Are the Light
Dear Family,
This week, we walked for power. But not the kind that shouts. The kind that shines.
We walked in the footsteps of Ella Baker, who taught us that:
“Strong people don’t need strong leaders. Give light and people will find the way.”
Ella didn’t believe in top-down change. She believed in you.
In your wisdom. Your witness. Your walk.
She knew that movements don’t need saviors. They need sparks. And that Black women have been the light all along. So if you walked five days this week you lit the way for others.
You’ve earned your Ella Baker Badge. For being a living flame in a world that tries to blow us out. High Five!
