Is your church represented?

Nearly 3,000 churches across the country have participated in Prayer Trek. This year, Greater Bethlehem Temple in Jackson, Mississippi is joining us. Central Baptist Church in St. Louis and Unity Fellowship Church in Newark are officially registered, too. We want to invite all of the churches that have participated in past years to join us in this year’s challenge.

For 9 days, we will walk and reflect on the 9 Fruits of the Spirit. We will have daily prayer calls with special guests like singer-songwriter Victory Boyd and the co-hosts of Truth’s Table, Dr. Christina Edmondson and Ekemini Uwan, who will root us in the Word and pray over us. Plus, every church with a Prayer Trek crew will be entered to win $1,000 for their health ministry. Drawings will be held daily so that’s nine chances to win!

How many churches can we get this year? Is your church registered? 

If yes, thank you! Now it’s time to invite women in your congregation to join your church crew. First, direct them to www.prayertrek.org to register. Once they register, they can find and join your church crew to make sure they’re counted as part of your group. Which church will have the largest crew? Will it be yours?

Plus, on Monday, October 9th we’re hosting a live Q & A where you can talk directly to our National Field Director for Churches, Cynthia Thompson, and get all of your Prayer Trek questions answered. RSVP here. Once you’ve registered your church, start inviting women in your congregation to join your church crew. The ask is simple. Dedicate 30 minutes each day to your healing and invite your sister-friends to join you. 

The Prayer Trek is virtual. You walk and call in each day from wherever you are. You do not need to be physically present with your crew members all 9 days to participate. Also, the calls will be recorded each morning and shared each afternoon on GirlTREK’s social media channels so if you can’t join us live, you can still listen and get your blessing.
